Business Intelligence Developer (gn)

contract: full-time, start date: asa, location: Leipzig, München

 

 

 

Das Aufgabengebiet

  • Collaboration in IT related BI projects including coordination between parties involved
  • Develop & manage BI projects where appropriate and running them (partially) independent
  • Further development and optimization of the current data warehouse based on Microsoft technologies
  • Collaboration with and / or steering external partners for the development of tools and interfaces
  • Supporting internal customers on their reporting / analytical requests in the light of the given functional, technical and / or organizational framework
  • Creation of dashboards, reports and portals by using all kind of available and necessary data sources
  • Create / develop documentations and training materials
  • Communication of results and follow up on conducted action items and set targets
  • Analyze BI data, formulate conclusions, report findings to management
  • Create new and customize existing reporting and dashboards
  • Analyze business processes, formulate conclusions, report findings to management

 

 

Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten

  • In-depth experience in Business Intelligence, data reporting, and analytic tools
  • Proven design, development, and implementation experience
  • Microsoft Platform – Microsoft365 Suite, PowerBI
  • Understanding Multi-Dimensional and / or Tabular Models in combination with MDX and / DAX queries
  • Database driven application development
  • Strong experience in ERP systems like NAV and experience in CRM Solutions 
  • Knowledge in SQL Server newest technologies, SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) 
  • Microsoft Azure – Dealing with Data and Delta Lakes, Usage of Microsoft Synapse in combination of Apache Spark
  • Knowledge in Python and usage of CDS – Common data store
  • Comprehensive experience in BI analytics, conceptual design and modelling of BI solutions
  • Highly motivated and results oriented
  • Strong analytic, problem-solving, and business acumen
